Deep Water Aerobics
Class takes place in shallow and deep water. The exercises will be low impact and full range of motion. Water resistance equipment is used to engage all muscle groups increasing flexibility and body strength in back, abs, arms and legs. This workout is vigorous and at the same time gentle on joints, especially knees and hips. Join us for a full body workout.

Energize yourself with a combo workout in the river and deep water! The first half in the river allows you to warm up with and against the current followed by cardio and upper body exercises. The second half, in the deep end, offers a full body core workout that minimizes stress on joints while fully supported in deep-water with ankle cuffs and/or buoyancy belt. Swimming ability not required. Water shoes recommended.

Deep water classes are a non-impact workout resulting in a high intensity cardiovascular workout (flotation devices are available on site). In this program you will learn a series of specially designed activities to help improve joint flexibility and muscle strength with the aid of the water’s resistance and buoyancy.

Using the natural resistance of the river, you’ll be challenged with a series of core body exercises that combines cardio, muscle conditioning, stretching and toning in a comprehensive workout. Use of water resistance equipment and abdominal exercises adds a powerful cross training challenge. Limited to the first 10 people. Bring a water bottle. Water shoes required.

If you suffer from chronic back pain, gentle exercise in the water may help. The focus of these classes is increased motion and reduced pain. Newcomers must attend the 1st class and come 45 minutes early the first day.

This is a gentle, flowing mindful experience, creating balance, strength and present moment awareness. This practice can be done by most people and is particularly helpful for those experiencing stiffness, balance issues or chronic pain. Effective stress management is another key benefit of the practice.

Saturday River Challenge
Cardio & Strength Training
Add a new twist to your exercise program and be prepared to sweat in the water! This comprehensive core body workout combines cardio exercises, muscle conditioning and toning using the resistance of the river. The upper body is also strengthened with hand buoys and hydro-boxers. All levels are welcome. Bring a water bottle! Water shoes required.

Aqua Zumba integrates the winning formula of Latin and international dance music beats with a water-based workout using classic aqua aerobics exercises. The music is energizing and you’ll have fun burning calories! No dance experience necessary -- just come join the party -- And bring your dancing (water) shoes!
